Launched in April'2004, RAAGALOY under Founder Smt.Niharika Gogoi, a Sangit Alankar & Principal-cum-Secretary, has been engaged in educating aspirants of Indian Classical Music through the time-tested prescribed course leading to a ‘Sangeet Alankar’ certification (Masters Program) from the prestigious Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai (Estb-1931).
Raagaloy Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Guwahati, is an affiliated institute under ABGMV Mandal, Mumbai, and at present specializes on the subject of Vocal (Gayan). Plans are afoot to include other subjects as well viz. Tabla, Harmonium, Sitar, Violin, Dances (Kathak, Sattriya, Bharat Natyam, Odissi, etc.) in the immediate future.
